Privacy Policy

The short version

The assessment does not ask for your name, email or phone number, and we do not collect them. Your answers are stored in your own browser. Anonymous usage events are sent to Google Analytics. If you buy, Whop collects your email and payment details in order to take the payment and deliver the Guide — we never see your card.

What is stored in your browser

Your answers. Kept in your browser's local storage under pfb_quiz_v1, so a refresh does not lose your place. They stay on your device until you clear your browser data.

A visitor id (fpid). A random identifier in a cookie lasting one year. It contains nothing about you personally and is used to avoid double-counting the same visitor.

A session id (fsid). A random identifier that lasts only until you close the tab.

What is sent to Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-B1G599TFPK) to see where people leave the assessment. Each event carries the two random ids above, plus the standard information Google collects: approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring link.

Events sent: page_view and step_view (which screen you reached), quiz_answer (that a question was answered, including the answer you chose), checkout_open, and guide_download.

Please note: because answer values are included, responses about your pain, sleep and mood are sent to Google Analytics alongside the identifiers described above.

What Whop collects

If you open checkout, Whop collects your email address and payment details directly. Payments are handled entirely by Whop and its processors; card numbers never reach this site or us. Whop is an independent controller of that data — see Whop's privacy policy.

Marketing parameters

If you arrived from an ad or a link with tracking parameters (utm_*, fbclid, gclid, ttclid, ref), those are carried through the assessment and included in analytics events, so we know which campaign brought you.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Why we are allowed to do this

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies: analytics rests on our legitimate interest in understanding how the assessment performs; processing your order rests on performance of the contract between us; keeping purchase records rests on our legal obligations. Where local law requires consent for analytics cookies, you may withdraw it by clearing cookies or using your browser's Do Not Track or tracking-prevention settings.

How long it is kept

Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on the Google Analytics property (14 months by default). Data held in your own browser stays until you clear it. Order records are kept by Whop for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

Depending where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, or ask for it in a portable format. If you are in California, you can ask what categories we collect and request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

Email support@everydaypainrelief.com and we will respond within 30 days. Because the assessment is anonymous, we may need details from your order (such as the email you bought with) to find your data. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site and the Guide are for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it.
